Elvora is a learning production company founded by Elise Macdonald and based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of any personal data you send us through this website.
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your company name, your work email address, which authoring tools you use, and the message you write. There is no account to create, no hidden field, and no data pulled in from anywhere else.
The form includes one invisible field used to catch automated spam. Humans never see it and nothing is recorded from it unless a bot fills it in.
To read your enquiry and reply to it, and to prepare for the call if you want one. That is the whole purpose. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has deliberately contacted us about our services, and if we go on to work together, the performance of a contract.
Submissions are captured by Netlify, the company that hosts this site, and forwarded to our own inbox. Netlify processes the data on our instructions. Nobody else receives it. We do not sell it, rent it, share it with advertisers, or feed it into any marketing platform, and we will not add you to a mailing list.
Enquiries are kept for up to twenty-four months so we can pick up a conversation that went quiet, then deleted. If we work together, the records tied to that work are kept for as long as our tax and accounting obligations require. Ask us to delete your details sooner and we will.
This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker on any page. Our host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting, in the ordinary way that every web server does.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it at all. We will action any of those within thirty days and we will not ask you why. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority, which in the UK is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Until our company mailbox is live, the contact form is the route, and it reaches the founder directly. Write "privacy" in the message and it will be handled as a formal request. A direct email address will be published here the day it exists.
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not make a quiet edit and hope nobody notices.
