About

We've seen exactly where this gets stuck.

Elvora was built to fix a problem we watched happen from the inside, over and over, for four years.

Founder, Elvora

Elvora was started by someone who spent four years inside Easygenerator: first building courses, then helping enterprise clients build their own.

That vantage point teaches you something specific: the bottleneck in L&D isn't budget, and it isn't the tools. Companies buy the licences. The licences sit there. The SMEs, who know the content cold, were never trained to build courses, and asking them to is a category error. So the few courses that ship end up as narrated slide decks, and the backlog grows.

After six years in L&D and more than a hundred courses built, the pattern was too consistent to ignore. The tools are sold like they'll do the work. They don't. They need someone to actually drive them.

So we built the company to fix it: an embedded production partner that works inside your existing stack, ships to a consistent standard, and makes the L&D team look good. If our work goes well, the person who hired us feels lighter. Less mountain. Less guilt about the backlog. More pride in what's shipping. That's the outcome we measure ourselves against.

What we believe

Six opinions we're happy to defend.

01

The bottleneck isn't budget. It's execution.

The money is already spent. The licence sits there. It needs someone to drive it.

02

SMEs were not hired to be designers.

They know the content. They were never trained to build courses. Tools that pretend otherwise are why most internal courses end up as narrated PowerPoints.

03

Functional is not the bar. Brilliant is.

A course that covers the content but is mind-numbing to sit through is a failure. Engagement is a craft. So is restraint.

04

Consistency is the real superpower.

Anyone can build one good course. Twenty good courses, same voice, same standard, same timeline. That's what almost no one delivers.

05

Most tool features go unused.

Knowing which feature serves which learning goal, and rotating them so nothing feels repetitive, is what separates a designer from a button-pusher.

06

The weight should come off.

If our work goes well, the L&D lead who hired us feels lighter. That's the outcome we measure, not just the deliverable.

Fit, both ways

Who this is for. And who it isn't.

Saying no to the wrong things is how we stay good at the right things.

This is for you if

  • You've invested in real authoring tools like Easygenerator, Articulate, or Synthesia, and you're not getting enough out of them.
  • Your SMEs know the content but can't or won't build it themselves.
  • Your backlog keeps growing and you're tired of explaining why nothing shipped this quarter.
  • You care whether your training is actually good, not just whether it exists.
  • You want someone who works inside your setup, not someone who wants to rebuild your stack.
  • You'd rather move fast on a pilot than spend three months scoping a strategy.

This is not for you if

  • You want the cheapest possible quote and don't care about quality.
  • You have fewer than 200 employees and no real L&D function or budget.
  • You want L&D strategy built from scratch alongside production, for free.
  • You need bespoke animation, custom film production, or work outside our defined scope.
  • You haven't bought any authoring tools and need a full tech recommendation first.

If that's you, hire a freelancer. The work will be cheaper, and we'll both be happier.
